The recruitment process
Our recruitment process is designed to be fair, transparent, and give you every chance to show us what you can bring to Tegel. Timelines can vary by role, but here’s a general overview of what to expect:
Adverts and Registration: We regularly advertise open roles on our careers page and other platforms. You can also register your interest and sign up for job alerts—so when the right opportunity comes up, you’ll be the first to know!
Application Ready to apply? Submit your CV and answer a few quick questions so we can get to know you. Keep your details up to date and don’t be afraid to show what makes you unique—we’re keen to hear your story.
Shortlist: Our Talent Acquisition team takes a close look at all applications to see who might be a great match. We’ll often give you a quick call during this stage to learn a bit more about you and help decide next steps.
First Interview: If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an interview - this may be by phone, video, or in person. We’ll ask questions about your experience and what motivates you. This is your time to shine, come prepared to share your story, your strengths, and why you’re excited about the opportunity. Remember, interviews are a two-way conversation, so feel free to ask questions too!
Second Interview: (if required) Some roles may need a second interview, usually with more of the team or at one of our sites. It’s a great chance for you to ask more questions and get a feel for what life at Tegel could look like.
Checks:
Before we make any offers, we carry out a few important checks. These might include:
- Psychometric or general reasoning assessments (for some roles)
- Pre-employment medicals
- Reference checks from two recent managers or direct supervisors
This helps us make sure everything’s a great fit—for both you and us.
Job Offer: If you’re successful, we’ll be in touch with a job offer and all the details. If it’s not quite the right fit this time, we’ll let you know and keep your info on hand for future roles you might love.
