Crunchy BBQ Bacon Burger



Tegel Free Range Crunchy Burgers 650g
  •        4 frozen Tegel Free Range Crunchy Chicken Burgers
  •        8 frozen pub-style onion rings 
  •        8 rashers streaky bacon
  •        4 sesame brioche burger buns, cut in half
  •        4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  •        4 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  •        Fancy lettuce leaves
  •        4 slices cheddar cheese


1. If you are using an oven, preheat to 200°C regular bake, and line a baking tray with baking paper. Omit this step if you are using an air-fryer.

2. Oven Method: Place the frozen chicken burgers onto the lined baking tray. Arrange the onion rings around the chicken burgers. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Cooking time may vary.

3. Air Fryer method: Place the frozen chicken burgers and the onion rings into the air fryer in a single layer. Fry for 15-17 minutes at 160°C, or until golden and cooked through. Cooking time may vary.

4. Heat a large non-stick frying pan on medium-high heat. Fry the bacon for 3-4 minutes each side, until golden and crispy.

5. Warm the burger buns in the oven for 4-5 minutes, until lightly toasted and warmed through.

6. Fill each of the burger buns with mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, lettuce, the crunchy chicken burgers, cheese, bacon and onion rings.
