
Jalapeno Chargrill Chicken Burger

Ingredients
- 4 Tegel Free Range Chargrilled Steaks 650g
- 4 brioche burger buns cut in half
- 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
- ½ cup caramelised onion
- ¼ cup jalapeno, sliced and drained
- 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
Method
1. If you are using an oven, preheat to 200°C regular bake, and line a baking tray with baking paper. Omit this step if you are using an air-fryer.
2. Oven Method: Place the frozen chicken steaks onto the lined baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Cooking time may vary.
3. Air Fryer method: Place the frozen chicken steaks into the air fryer in a single layer. Fry for 15-17 minutes at 160°C, or until golden and cooked through. Cooking time may vary.
4. Warm the burger buns in the oven for 4-5 minutes, until lightly toasted and warmed through.
5. Fill the burger buns with the mayonnaise, avocado, lettuce, Chargrilled chicken burgers, caramelised onions, jalapenos and cabbage.
